Jr. High and Sr. High students meet on Wednesday Nights from 7-8:30pm for a time of activity and learning.  Everyone is welcome, so come and see who we are.  Special activities are held every last Wednesday Night of the month from 6:30 - 9pm. 
Easter Break March 31st (No Wednesday Nite)

JR. HIGH SCHOOL:
Sunday AM is from 9:15 - 10:15 in the Junior High Room 8.  During the summer we will be joining with the High School students to discuss current events and what God's word has to say about them.
Our desire at Valley Hi is for every Junior High student to understand the basics of Christianity when they enter High School. To assist with this process, students experience an interactive survey of both the Old and the New Testaments in our Sunday morning classes. We are using the "Journey" which is a Covenant publication designed for confirmation classes.
Wednesday PM is from 7:00 - 8:30 in the Jr. High Room 8.  These nights will resume on September 2nd.  Wednesday nights are designed for the students to be able to look into God's word, worship together, share prayer requests, and play together. Kids are welcome to arrive at 6:30 and should be picked up by 8:45.

 SR. HIGH SCHOOL:
BETA is from 9:15 - 10:15am in the Lewis Building/Kitchen.  BETA is a time for us to be challenged to know God's story.  BETA in rock climbing terms, means to ask for help on an unknown route you are climbing.  Applying that to our spiritual lives means that we need help from God and from other people to know how to live out our faith during our climb through high school.  We will be challenged and will compete agiainst other grade levels, so come and climb with us!  Beta CD's are now available, make sure you get one.

Wednesday Night is from 7 - 8:30pm in the old sanctuary, or the Youth Ministry Center.  Our goal is to create a living community in which students develop their faith.  So each Wednesday we have fun activities, celebrate birthdays, and have great discussions about topics we face in our lives. 
We are discussing the fact that God and the world have 2 very different things to offer us. 
JOY: So far we have seen that God created us to experience JOY, the world only offers us momentary happiness. 
KINDNESS: God also has created us to pass on the kindness He shows us; "The kindness in me, meets the need in you". 
LOVE: "All you need is love", or at least a famous old song says so.  God wants us to experience His love for us.  We experience that love when we love the people around us.  If you do not know love, then you do not know God. 
FAITHFULNESS: Inorder to be faithful to something or someone, you must have faith/belief/hope in that thing or person.  Since God is faithful to us, that means he has faith/belief/hope in who we are.  Pretty cool.
SELF CONTROL: God wants us to be in control, to protect ourselves from things that will bring us harm.  Addictions are sneaky and they take control of our lives.  Are you in control of what you do?  Or is what you do in control of you?  God can help. 
PEACE:  High school years are usually full of drama.  God wants us to experience peace, and to bring peace to others.  So stop your busy life, breathe, remember the things God tell us in the bible, and bring peace to those around you.  Do not pass on the rumors or gossip you hear!
