Those efforts include community education, the distribution of healthy foods, and social support along with spiritual and prayer support. In the future we plan to expand that list as our base of partners grows. Our vision is to be, Community partners serving people affected by HIV/AIDS – sharing the compassionate heart of God. We recognize that the response of our society to people living positive has been both politically and religiously charged, such that the real people and the real issues are often neglected. We desire to set aside all those issues which divide and cause so much pain, so that we can reach out, develop relationships, and share the goodness of both human and divine compassion. Our current partners include, Valley Hi Covenant Church, First Baptist Church of Elk Grove, Elk Grove Food Bank, People of Purpose Food Distribution and Positive Partnerships HIV/AIDS+ Support Group. Attached are fliers on services provided by our community partners. Please note that the Elk Grove Food Bank Brown Bag program is available to all living HIV/AIDS+ within the Elk Grove Unified School District. You do not have to be disabled, just say that you are with the FAITH Project. People of Purpose serves all in need every Thursday. If you are not well enough to pick up food, please notify us at the FAITH Project by leaving a message at Valley Hi Covenant Church and we will coordinate food delivery volunteers. The FAITH Project meets monthly. If you are someone living positive who can utilize services, would like to assist or know a community organization that may want to assist our outreach to those living HIV/AIDS+ in South Sacramento or Elk Grove please contact us. Please call with questions, comments or interest in working with us in any capacity. We would be pleased to hear from you.
